The drive up to vermont was so beautiful because of all the freshly fallen snow.
Some of the vineyards in vermont took part in a drink & food tasting during the weekend before valentines day. jon & i went to two...champlain orchards was our first stop
This orchard is my favorite one I've ever been to, if you're in the area definitely stop by & apple picking season is the best they have the most varieties I've ever seen! We sampled two hard ciders, an apple wine, and two iced ciders they were all great, but i have more of a sweet tooth so my favorites were the Pruners Promise Hard Cider & the two iced ciders ...which if you have never had before i strongly recommend trying they are dessert drinks & ooo so delicious :) We also got to have these yummy apple turn overs below while we sampled the drinks
these local goat milk soaps smelled wonderful & i loved the packaging
this was our second stop were they paired local chocolates with their wine :)
All the chocolate was delicious! If the Lemon-Lavender White Chocolate hadn't been sold out we would have taken some to go, but we settled on two Rosehip and Sichuan Pepper Dark Chocolate Truffles (seen below) which were a little spicy in a cool way & sat by the fire with them & two glasses of the Late Harvest Wine. It was very relaxing.

the lighting was beautiful & jon decided to do a mini photo-shoot of me :)
