The Lobster Roll.
This was my first experience with a lobster roll & I don't think it could have been more perfect. The lobster meat at the Clam Shack is always fresh, the rolls are homemade & freshly baked, & to top it off the meat is drizzled with butter...simple, but soo delicious!
While we where at the shack we happened upon a presentation by the owner & got to learn all about lobsters...it was very interesting.
We ended the night wrapped up in blankets on the sandy shores of a private beach in Kennebunkport where we watched the sunset & the starry night sky.
Gertrudes Beach Bar is another great decision for wonderful Island eats. Both the shrimp and chicken Roti are among the best decisions. In the event that you haven't attempted a customary West Indian roti then you deserve to test this provincial faire. Roti's are a wrap loaded down with nourishment prepared in the Indian style.
