I recently began reading The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.
I'm loving the message so far & I have began to make a conscious effort to remain in the now. I can see the benefits of this mindset already. Below is an expert of some of the words that have impacted me the most so far as well as some pictures from the park where Jon & I spent some time yesterday enjoying the beautiful day.

“...the past gives you an identity and the future holds the promise of salvation, of fulfillment in whatever form. Both are illusions. As soon as you honor the present moment, all unhappiness and struggle dissolve, and life begins to flow with joy and ease. When you act out the present-moment awareness, whatever you do becomes imbued with a sense of quality, care, and love - even the most simple action. Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life.”

This park is right across the street from where we live, I feel very lucky.

Drawing, reading, relaxing.

Magic. Beauty. Nature.

I was taking a picture of something else when Jon walked over to show me this leaf & tell me what kind of tree it was.
As he was talking I secretly snapped this picture, I love it :)
