colorado - colorado springs - nourish organic juice

Jon & I ventured to Colorado Springs this past weekend to visit Garden of the Gods*post to follow about our time spent there* When we first arrived we stopped at Nourish Organic Juice for breakfast/lunch & to fuel up for the day of exploring ahead. This place is not to be missed if you are ever in the area! Everything we got was so delicious, plus it was organic :) The atmosphere was also very charming, positive, & full of beautiful colors.

Scoping things out. Some goodies that were in this fridge include: a variety of house-made dressings, raw dark chocolate almond butter cups, raw fudge, & a variety of salads.

There was a corner where children could play as well, which included this beautiful artwork.

So many things to try, so little time.

Roasted corn & quinoa soup with veggies.

Acai Bowl <3

We also got a pour over coffee with house-made almond milk, which was so fresh & delicious, plus a bag of ranch seasoned kale chips to go. The kale chips were intended as a snack for later in the day, but were devoured before we reached Garden of the Gods - once we started we could not stop, they were that good. One other element worth noting was the friendly customer service. I'm really looking forward to going back to this place!

colorado - red rocks

Jon & I went to explore Red Rocks this week on one of our days off. It's a remarkable accumulation of natural, beautifully colored, rock formations...some of which create an ideal arena for an outdoor amphitheater where concerts are held...this is what Red Rocks is best known for, but there are trails as well & it's a great place to spend some time outdoors, click here for some more history of Red Rocks. Plus, there is a small museum where you can see who has preformed at Red Rocks throughout history as well as a restaurant where you can get food & sit outside to admire the views.

a trip back east

At the end of June I got to head back home for 5 days to spend time with family. The majority of them live back east & everyone made the effort to see me while I was home, which I loved. I miss everyone back on this coast quite a bit. The pictures below are from one of the nights when we went out to a special dinner to celebrate my brother graduating college, so proud of him!

Siblings <3

I'm between my grandparents, on my mom's side, & my parents are on the far right.
Until next time <3
