After Ya Ya Orchard we realized that Left Hand Brewery was right around the corner, so we decided to go check it out. We shared a flight of stout brews, which are one of our favorites lately. My particular favorite was the Oak Aged Wake Up Dead which had delicious coffee notes. We also got very lucky because there was a food truck at the brewery that served local, organic food! The food truck is called Jake's Bumbu Bali Food Truck. I've never had traditional Balinese food before, but now I am quite obsessed & I keep thinking about when I'll get to have it again :) Jake is the real deal too, he studied in Bali & goes back every year as well. Jon & I both got the Nasi Campur, a recommendation from the person behind us online who comes to the brewery almost every Sunday to have Jake's food, mine had chicken & tempeh in it & Jon's had pork. They were incredible, colorful, & a real well rounded meal. If you are in the Longmont, CO area on Sunday definitely stop by!
