elysian hills tree farm

We had such a wonderful time at the Elysian Hills Tree Farm in Dummerston, VT. The weather was beautiful & we took advantage of it by spending a couple hours exploring the farm. The grounds were beautiful & there is even a network of trails you can hike. We wandered through the trees, both big & small, looking for the perfect one...this took quite a while because it really is hard to decide on that perfect tree, but we found one & had a lot of fun searching! Ava was awesome the whole time, she spent half the time in the carrier with Jon sleeping & then I carried her for a bit so she could really see the sites :) Milo was allowed as well which is always a plus because we want to include him in our activities. The farm has a cute country store with local goods, produce, wreaths, garland, & free hot chocolate & cookies. They also have a fire pit set up where you can roast marshmallows. Today we are having a mellow day & we plan to decorate the tree, listen to holiday music, & bake cookies later. I love this time of year, hopefully there will be snow soon I miss it! Happy Sunday <3
